iHSI it's a cheap and useful iHSI backup instrument for your plane. Just save your flight route and fly.
If you want to fly from Paso Robles to Agua Dulce Air Park just enter:

17 nautical miles RADIAL 115 from LHS VOR is Aguadulce.
Just pressing next and last button on the main screen you'll change from one to another.
Drag your finger left to right or right to left to change selected course.

NOTE: iPhone compass is very inaccurate inside your plane. As soon as GPS heading is available, iHSI will use it and change heading colour from red to yellow.
IMPORTANT: iHSI CANNOT BE USED AS A PRIMARY NAVIGATION INSTRUMENT.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: IHSI WON'T WORK WITH YOUR IPHONE IN PLANE MODE UNLESS YOU HAVE AN EXTERNAL GPS DEVICE LIKE BAD ELF GPS. PLANE MODE DISABLES GPS.
iHSI needs GPS signal. Use it Outdoors.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Use a battery charger when in flight.
