The PocketShrink apps are self-diagnosis tools.
PocketShrink Narcissistic Personality Disorder allows a user who has concerns around having this personality disorder to get a rough gauge on whether they should seek proper medical advice. It also allows them to see which other (anonymous) users of the app have the same concerns as themselves.
The app can also enable the user to get a rough diagnosis of others they are concerned about, by answering the questions for them (instead of yourself).
It is simple and easy to use. The app was written by a practicing psychologist and is based upon the latest diagnostic and statistical manuals (DSM IV).
Narcissistic Personality Disorder describes people who are grandiose, willing to step on others to get ahead and also easily injured. Although this may sound like your boss (partner, friends, teacher etc), using this app will allow you to get a more objective and accurate appraisal of their, or your own behavior.
