GPS tracking deluxe for hikers and bikers

iTrails is the only iPhone and iPod touch GPS tracking app on the Apple iTunes App Store with AUGMENTED REALITY feature.
The app requires iOS 4 (or higher) to be installed and a GPS sensor, compass and camera on your device.

❶ Track your trails
➶ iTrails tracks your movements and shows the trail on a realtime map.
➶ Due to the excellent multi tasking capabilities of iOS devices, the tracking fully works even when the app is closed (=running in the background).
➶ The map can be aligned "North up", "Direction up" (according to the compass) or "Course up" (according to the movement direction).
➶ Tracks can be saved and then edited anytime. You even can load a saved route into the tracking map and follow a previous recorded trail again.
➶ Recording of a track can be paused and resumed.
➶ Speed and altitude profiles are shown during recording and will be saved together with the track.

❷ Add waypoints anytime
➶ You can add and edit waypoints to your route whenever you want to.
➶ Waypoints can also be edited, deleted, added within a saved track.

➶ "Forward Geocoding": Search for locations and addresses of your contacts

❸ Import routes via GPS eXchange (GPX)
