MUSIC – The celebration of fifty years of Rock n’ Roll requires a blend of hits from each decade since the birth of Rock n’ Roll combined with the very best of today’s music. We call this anthology “The Rock”.

The extensive play list includes artists like Rod Stewart, Crissey Hines, Elton John, Phil Collins, Madonna and Sting. Groups include the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers and Huey Lewis and the News.

Proven artists and groups that made yesterday’s hits so popular, and continue to produce great music today, mixed with new talent like Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Maroon 5, The Killers, Daughtry, Dave Mathews Band, Gin Blossoms, John Mayer and the Nickleback.

SPORTS – Coverage of sporting events throughout the Big Sky Country of Montana is no easy task. Team travel to great distances, communication logistics, scheduling conflicts and the huge amount of sports activities we broadcast require a well staffed, professional sports department that features four play-by-play announcers.

NEWS – Local, State, Regional and National news with an emphasis on quality and substance. Audio is utilized to insure accurate reporting … no misquotes or misinterpretations because listeners hear the actual quote and audio from the people and events making the news.

Residents of North Central Montana have long recognized the quality and timeliness of our newscasts. Additional recognition of our News at the national, regional and state level comes from the Associated Press, Society for Professional Journalists, the Greater Montana Foundation and the Radio and Television News Director Association’s prestigious Edward R. Murrow award.

WEATHER – Prompt, accurate, local weather reporting is a monumental commitment to our listeners. Forecasts are updated immediately and often. The responsibility of notifying our listeners immediately when weather threatens a flash flood, tornado warning, severe thunderstorm activity or winter blizzard is serious business. That’s why we were chosen to be the primary radio station in this area for the Emergency Alert System and responsible for keeping our listeners and other broadcast facilities informed of potential or catastrophic conditions that are of concern, or worse, life threatening!

COMMUNITY SERVICE – It takes an extraordinary commitment to important local concerns, integrity to strive for a balanced presentation of views and creativity to focus the public spotlight on the issues that matter. That’s why all radio is not created equal, it takes a talented team to crystallize radio programming that makes a difference.
