Micro-Expressions are shown on the face for a fraction of a second, before someone is consciously aware of an emotion. Coupled with subtle expressions, which are expressions displayed only on specific parts of the face, more information is on the face of someone speaking to you than in their words.

The 40 expressions are categorized by the seven universal emotions, which exhibit themselves across all cultures and societies in the same fashion. The training in this app is based on the scientific research of prominent psychologists such as P Ekman, JC Hager, WV Friesen, PC Ellsworth, and H Oster.
