ABC Cursive writing
ABC Cursive Writing was created to help us all work on our handwriting. The application is fun for kids that are learning the basics of cursive writing. It is also helpful for adults that wish to improve their handwriting. Reduce medical errors due to poor handwriting.

The program has many functions and is very easy to use. For example, the user can practice the lower case abc(s), upper case ABC(s), numbers and it even has a way to practice words created by the child or parent. For example, if you want to customize the program to practice a particular word or sentence; the application will allow the child to enter the words at the top of the screen and the program will then present the letters in that specific sequence to create the words. This is ideal for children practicing their name, phone number or anything that you want them to repeat.

The Doodle board allows your child to draw pictures in different colors if they choose not to work on their handwriting. The colors are; red, yellow, green, blue and purple. Other fun features include being able to erase letters by simply shaking the ipod/phone.

Our beta testers are suitable for children 3 years and older. Some individuals with poor handwriting have improved it using the program. Some have emailed before and after pictures to friends as a testimony of the benefits of ABC Cursive Writing. Taking pictures of the doodle board or letters is as simple as pressing the Home Key and On/Off button at the same time.

You do not need a stylus to use this program. For practice purposes especially for children, we suggest using a stylus that is known to work on the IPhone or Ipod Touch (2nd generation).
The reason we suggest using a stylus is more to do with practicing holding an “pen”, but the program works the same." Also, the child will still get to practice the movements needed to recreate the letter. Practice makes perfect and with this program, you do not need erasers. All you need is to shake it.
