As 500,000+ jobs are eliminated monthly with many more seemingly on the chopping block, it's getting harder and harder to avoid the "pink slip moment." While a certain amount of shock, disorientation and powerlessness may be inevitable, there's much you can do before, during and after this moment to make the best of a very bad situation.
This app offers strategies for three parts of the layoff experience: (1) how to prepare if you hear the proverbial footsteps outside your door; (2) how to handle the "pink-slip moment" if it happens to you; and (3) how to pick up the pieces afterwards. We hope you'll find these strategies helpful to have at the ready -- but never actually needed!
