YOUR CHILD'S VACCINATION RECORD AT YOUR FINGERTIPS:
•• While growing up, your child will receive over 30 shots of vaccines with names that make no sense to mere mortals. Your child's pain from the shot is soon forgotten, but you are not so lucky - you will be interrogated at the start of each school year all the way to college, and in the emergency room of every hospital where you take your child with a fever.
Parents of young children usually keep a paper record of their children's immunizations in a shoe box, and it is a good practice. But you cannot take the paper record of every child everywhere you go. That is where iPhone comes in because your iPhone does go with you on every ride and with our App you can put the vaccination record of every one of your children on the iPhone. Now when the ER doctor says, "Ma'am, do you know if her whooping cough shots are up-to-date?" You say, "Yes indeed, I'll tell you in a second - they are right here in my iPhone"
RECORD OF ALLERGIES:
•• It is amazing how many people are clueless about their family member's allergies when they bring him or her to the emergency room in an unconscious state. Often the answer the ER doctor gets is, "I think she is allergic to something but I am not sure if it is penicillin or something else". A vague answer like that can sometimes keep a life saving drug from being administered to a patient who needs it, or even worse, cause a drug to be administered to which the patient is actually allergic, leading to all kinds of problems. Now is the time to be certain of the exact names of allergies of every family member, and the exact symptoms of that allergy. Enter them into the iPhone using this App and this record will go wherever your iPhone goes. For serious allergies we also recommend a bracelet.
PERIODIC MEASUREMENTS - BMI RECORD:
•• Any family member can use the App to record serial Height and Weight and get BMI values, great for following one's progress in weight control.
•• NEW VACCINES CAN BE EASILY ADDED BY THE USER.
Once added these custom vaccines are handled the same way as the built-in vaccines. Added vaccines can be easily deleted too.
•• An optional note can also be added for each injection.
