P&F Charts

Do you want to easily track trends and find buy and sell opportunities for stocks, currencies, or crypto currencies from many of the world's exchanges? If so then P&F Charts is the app you need.

This app provides Point and Figure Charts generated on demand on your device based on end of day, weekly, monthly or intraday data with a wide range of user selectable parameters. Comparative line charts are also available. This is a serious app for serious traders.

Features include:

• Free stock data included and sourced by the app from Alpha Vantage. Most major stocks in many exchanges supported.
• Setup as many Watchlists as you want - e.g. Portfolio, Currencies.
• Download and track stocks (e.g. AAPL, F, LSE.LON), currencies (e.g. AUDUSD=X) and crypto currencies (e.g. BTC-AUD, ETH-AUD) in your chosen Watchlist.
• Choose your own display name for a given stock, e.g. "Sony" instead of "8729.TOK"
• Create detailed Point and Figure charts, ZOOM into the details and SCROLL around to the price movements of interest.
• Choose your own colours (colors) for all charting elements - make it look just the way you like it.
• Year labels displayed at base of Point and Figure charts.
• A wide range of Point and Figure charting parameters : all remembered for each item in your watchlist:

- Box Size Type: Arithmetic (Set Size) or Logarithmic (%)
- Box Size: user supplied or Automatic
- Box Reversal: from 1 to 7 boxes.
- This app correctly draws 1 box charts including "One-step-back".
- Calculation Method: Close, AdjustedClose, High-Low, Low-High and Open-High-Low-Close
- Data Period: choose how many months or years of data is used
- Show Months: turn on or off
- Display Precision: choose how many decimals are displayed on the price axis
- Bear Counts factor

• One tap to overlay the chart with horizontal support and resistance lines or diagonal trend lines.
• Show predicted prices using the Horizontal or Vertical Count methods.
• Comparative Line Charts all generated on the fly. You can also include 2 Simple Moving Average (SMA) or Exponential Moving Average (EMA) lines with user selectable periods.
• Works on your iPhones and iPads in both portrait and landscape mode. Rotate to best display detail depending upon the resulting shape of your generated chart. It is also available on your Mac Desktop.
• Your iCloud account is used to sync your Watchlist and Stock selections between all your Apple devices.
• A very comprehensive user guide is also included.

Two important fixes in this version:

1. The stock data provider has moved to premium access for adjusted daily close prices for stocks. The app now defaults to non-adjusted daily closes. See the support FAQ for further detail on how to use adjusted daily close prices if desired.

2. New stocks are automatically displayed on the Watchlist view when added.
