X-PERT Diabetes Digital will help you learn about the prevention and management of Type 2 diabetes – whenever you want, wherever you want. It includes the most up-to-date approaches, and gives you the chance to address any concerns you have with your lifestyle.
X-PERT Diabetes Digital brings award-winning education to your phone, tablet or computer. All of the key content from the X-PERT group programmes is included, and is delivered through a mix of animated videos, short articles, and interactive quizzes and games.
The aim of X-PERT is not to tell you what you should and shouldn’t do, but to help you make informed choices to identify what you would like to do and how you would like to do it.
The Programme includes:
- All of the information you need to understand your health and lifestyle options better; including content on diet, physical activity, stress, sleep, and much more
- Individual support from a health coach, who will help guide you through your behaviour change journey
- 24/7 support, including an automated live chat that can answer your questions round the clock, a group chat with a small group of other users, and access to the X-PERT Online Forum
- Tracking functions – including a range of key health markers, steps (including the ability to link to Apple Health), stress, sleep, and how much water you’re drinking – to help you assess how well any changes you are making are working
- Guided physical activity sessions, to help you become more active in your own home
- Breathing exercises, to help you relax and reduce stress
- Goal setting and notifications – to help you plan what you’d like to do, and to give you nudges to help you do it
- Recipes for different dietary approaches (low fat, Mediterranean, low carb, or intermittent fasting), to help you find meals that suit your new lifestyle
