Plant Based Journey was created to help people switch and stay focused on a plant based diet.
Featuring over thirty seven family recipes, pre meal inspirational messages, and a plant based restaurant finder this app was designed to help you stay focused and make it easy to realize the benefits of a plant based diet.
The recipes are all original plant based, zero cholesterol and vegan. I have converted many of my family recipes to vegan for the health benefits trying not to sacrifice taste. Recipes such as Hot Italian Quinoa Seed Sausage, Eggplant Parmesan, Cheese Manicotti with a Quinoa Sausage mushroom bolognese sauce, and more. We have a full range of recipes from Al Pastor tacos, Tofish with vegan Tartar sauce, to vegan Chicken Fried Steak with Cashew cream gravy. These will make your tastebuds pleasantly surprised. We have focused on replicating the taste of many of my favorite recipes, but keeping it zero cholesterol and vegan for the health benefits,
This app also the ability to set pre meal notifications which will display inspirational messages from our database to offer will power to maintain healthy choices throughout the day. The user may also peruse all of the inspirational messages at any time for further inspiration. New inspirations are always being added to our database. Set it to reflect your own personal pre meal times. Who doesn't need reminders to eat healthy!
Share your success and Joy!, on the recipe detail page you may share our food images via facebook, twitter and instagram. Enjoy a recipe! Post it! This page also includes a hands free feature to read the recipe directions through the device speaker while you are making it.
With our recipes we have stayed true to form with the taste of our recipes, for example our Hot Italian Quinoa Sausage tastes like sausage, our Béchamel Cashew Cream Sauce tastes like ricotta cheese. We have focused on the taste of core ingredients so we can layer the flavors to make some amazing meals, and on top of it all they are zero cholesterol, zero fat, and vegan. You can too! Use our core ingredients to make anything that you desire.
Our recipes are also simple to make, for most the cooking time is under 30 minutes, and the most complicated can be up to 45 minutes. Many of our recipes such as stuffed shells, lasagna and more can be created in large batches to make for one night, and freeze the rest for another day with the family. New recipes are constantly being added to our database every time we find a taste that we can replicate.
Out and about and feeling healthy! Another feature of this app is to find the nearest plant based restaurant options. There are soo many different available options for healthy eating that we should explore them all. Powered by Yelp this feature is very rich in context and can easily help you discover restaurants you didn't even know were there! Plant Based Journey also offers turn by turn directions using Apple maps to find the location of the place that you select. Images of tasty foods!, reviews you can trust and more. This app works on your current location and will find the nearest restaurants with plant based options. Page through, look at the images and the reviews and make your selection, enjoy I hope you like it!
