St. Mary's Church, Chalgrove is a welcoming place, a place to dream, a place to celebrate, a place to cry, a place to be with God. The main glory of St Mary’s is the internationally important scheme of medieval paintings on the upper walls of the chancel.
This app, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, will unlock the stories behind these paintings and other significant features of this Church. You can choose between a tour for adults or our family tour led by Penny, a young artist.

- An interactive floorplan of the Church to help you find your way around
- Games and interactives
- Interactive RubawaysTM to reveal the past
- Audio commentary about the paintings and architecture
- Tours for Adult and Family visitors
