Tap Dance Ninja

Introducing the Tap Dance Ninja app, a new resource for tap dancers to take their skills to the next level while developing their sense of rhythm and musicality. It is applicable to all levels, but most helpful to Intermediate and Advanced tap dancers. Tap Dance Ninja provides simple menu navigation of free curated instructional content.

While I'm only an amateur programmer, my hope is that this app will make accessing quality instructional content easier for tap dancers around the world.

Modules Include:

- Tap Ninja's "Master Tap Template", a step-by-step guide to increasing the rhythmic complexity of choreography and improvisation.

- Tap Ninja's "Famous Tap Steps" lesson, a series of brief videos teaching well-known steps as performed by tap dancers such as: Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, Eleanor Powell and Fred Astaire, The Nicholas Brothers, and Jason Samuels Smith.

- Direct links to Masters of American Tap Dance ("MATD") instructional videos featuring 30 prominent tap dance teachers, performers and choreographers, including: Barbara Duffy, Brenda Bufalino, Christy Hernandez, Gabe and Mindy Copeland, Heather Cornell, Max Pollak, Sam Weber, Steve Zee and many more.

- Direct links to a handful of "Operation: Tap" videos from Anthony Morigerato's Technique Tuesday YouTube video series.
