Latched is a social podcasting platform that lets you record audio, share, and converse with others. Social podcasting. Made easy for everyone.
Create up to 5 minute casts to share, and then receive audio responses from your listeners to latch onto your cast. The result is a conversational podcast. Create Q&A sessions, conduct interviews, or simply start informal conversations with all of your listeners.
Just follow your favorite casters and start listening!
Many users have found different ways to use Latched:
- Voice blogging
- Connecting with your fans
- Sharing random thoughts of the day with your friends
- For musicians - recording and sharing a live playing of your music
- Storytelling, where your listeners finish the story for you
- Interviewing
- Or come up with your own creative use of voice latching!

Because of all of your feedback and diligence, we were able revamp the design to make it easier for you to access responses and latches (no more hunting around for those responses!). The interface is also much easier for the eyes.
And, of course, behind-the-scenes bug fixes for a more stable and speedy experience. App loads and table scrolling are 80% faster (okay, we’re not sure if it’s actually 80%, but it’s definitely MUCH faster!).
Stay tuned - more updates are on the way per your feedback! We have BIG plans ahead of us. In the meantime, keeping latching and tell your friends!
