VO2max Calculator
This calculator will generate training paces and race predictions. The calculator works by estimating your VO2max using a generic mathematical model based on a previous run of yours. It works reasonable within 1500 meter to marathon runs.
You may have several race results that indicate different VO2max values. If the races are all reasonably recent and reflect your current fitness level then use the best. If you have been injured or had a break from training since your last race - you should not use an old race result. Run a new test instead.
The calculator uses mathematical formulas.
The VO2max estimate in this app is a measure of how fast you are. It does not care how much you weigh or how much oxygen you take in. It should be used as a framework for training.
A real VO2Max is a physiological measurement, essentially based on your maximal oxygen uptake and your body weight.
This is only a tool. Always consult a professional before implementing these estimates in your training.
