Keypress allows you to use the amazing TouchID technology built into your iPhone to securely lock AND unlock your Mac from anywhere.
Have an incredibly long password? Don’t want to waste time typing it in when you’re in a rush? Worried about others looking over your shoulders? Now you can use Keypress to quickly lock and unlock your Mac without ever having to type in your password.
Features:
Unlock from Anywhere: Unlike other tools, Keypress doesn’t rely on Bluetooth, which means you can control your computer from anywhere in the world. All you need is a valid Wifi, 3G, or LTE connection.
Secure: Keypress doesn’t store your Mac’s password or your fingerprints. We use secure 2048-bit encryption to establish connections between your iPhone and your Mac.
Multiple Devices: Keypress allows you to control as many Computers as you want. Each user is allowed to register up to two computers, but can purchase more through In-App Purchases.
Easy Access: Need to lock or unlock your computers right now? Keypress’ TodayView Extension allows you to easily view and control your devices right from your iPhone’s Notification Center.
Efficient: Keypress' Mac and iOS apps won’t run in the background and drain your battery.
Keypress works as a two-part application. Please download our Mac App on the App Store and ensure you have the correct version of OS X installed (Yosemite). Keypress is ONLY compatible with iOS Devices running on iOS 8.0+ that have support for TouchID. This includes, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Mini 3, and the iPad Air 2.
