Place tiles on the board to grow areas of the same colour.
You can see the colour of the next tile and the three tiles after that.
Score bonus points for patterns of tiles that blend to white, such as, red + green + blue or cyan + yellow + magenta.
Other combinations that blend to white include cyan + red + cyan, yellow + blue + yellow and magenta + green + magenta.
When you create a bonus pattern you score points and the tiles involved disappear from the board.
When the board is full you are awarded points for areas where adjacent tiles have the same colour.
Chromis stores the state of the board after each move and automatically returns to a game in progress when you re-launch the application.
Explore four levels with increasingly elaborate blending rules to keep you on your toes.
Level 1 uses tiles that are red, green, blue, cyan, yellow and magenta.
Score over 8000 points on level 1 to unlock level 2.
Level 2 introduces white tiles which can be used to create additional bonus patterns.
Score over 10000 points on level 2 to unlock level 3.
Level 3 introduces gray tiles which incur a penalty at the end of the game but which can be destroyed by cunning placement of bonus patterns.
Score over 12000 points on level 3 to unlock level 4.
Level 4 introduces the multi-colour wildcard and with it an extra dimension of strategy to continue to improve your personal best score.
At any point you can return to an earlier level and try to improve on your previous best score for that level.
