A program designed by Ron Eslinger, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and Certified Master Hypnotherapy Instructor who uses positive suggestions and biorhythmic music to enhance patient satisfaction after general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and conscious sedation.
Bio-Rhythmic music is the background for positive suggestions for reassurance and healing given in the first person. "I am relaxed and comfortable." "I am healing more quickly than I thought I would.? "My surgery is going well, I am feeling well. " Twenty-nine positive suggestions. A recording for the patients undergoing General Anesthesia.
Intra-Operative suggestions reduce incidence of post hysterectomy emesis.

"Anesthetised surgical patients with direct physiological suggestions, were associated with doses of post-operative analgesics which were very low. . . .a reduction in the need for post-operative urinary catheter. "

Positive therapeutic suggestions may be considered as an alternative to antiemetic therapy.
