Take on ‘Terrible Tense’ Tex and your friends, family or teacher in this Wild West English dual! This quick-on-the draw’ game TEACHES and TESTS you on English grammar and is packed with questions. With 3 LEVELS to test you, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced, it also tests your REACTION SPEED in this cowboy-style shoot-out. They only shoot tomatoes though!
TAKE ON ‘TERRIBLE TENSE’ TEX!
Can you take on ‘Terrible Tense’ Tex, one of the fastest grammar gunslingers in town? You’ll be playing for our local grammar hero, Claude ‘The Clause’ Clunes.
Look at the sentences and decide which of the four answers correctly fills the gap? Choose your answer to shoot your cowboy’s tomato gun. If you are correct, then you’ll give Tex a faceful of tomato. If you are wrong, it’ll be you that’s tasting the tomato. You only have 15 seconds to answer before Tex shoots (he’s a bit of a cheat!).

Each round has 10 questions and each correct answer wins you a star. Get 8 stars to beat Tex and make your own cool GRAMMAR GULCH SHERIFF’S POSTER to share with your friends and family. If you get hit three times, it’s game over. You can check your answers at the end for extra grammar practice.
