1. Overview: BugPlanet is a free shmup designed for iOS; Shogun3D's first completed mobile shmup game!
2. Features:
- Progressive Difficulty: The game's difficulty gradually increases as you play!
- Personal Score Boards: Keep track of your own personal scores and rankings.
- Multiple Ships: Each ship has a unique secondary fire.
- Auto Adjusting Game Speed: Too much action for you? During intense scenes, BugPlanet will cut the game speed in half, giving you more time to react!
3. Gameplay:
- Use your finger to move your ship. The ship moves relative to your finger position.
- Your ship will fire automatically.
- Dodge enemy bullets coming at you. Transparent shots are called "Ghost Shots" and will not do any damage to your ship.
- Avoid The Bubbles! They will explode into more shots if you get too close!
- The orange crystals are your rewards for destroying enemy bugs!
- For every 20,000 points, you will receive an extra bomb that will kill all enemy bugs, and turn all bullets into crystals.
- To use a Bomb, tap the B button on the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
4. Misc Notes:
- For those who have trouble seeing certain colours, you can change the colour of the enemy bullets to increase your ability to dodge them.
- This game may suffer some frame rate drops during intense scenes on older devices.
