Be it at a specialist wine store, when ordering at a restaurant, or buying when you are out visiting wine estates - here you can quickly and easily find all the information you need on
• all 13 German winegrowing regions
• the 1.090 best wine producers
• 11.400 selected, individually scored wines
The wines were tasted exclusively for the Gault&Millau WineGuide by a team of respected and experienced tasters, and scored in accordance with the internationally accepted 100-point system. The internationally renowned wine critic Joel Payne is the editor-in-chief, guaranteeing the reliability of the ratings.
For each wine, you will find information on the points it has scored, as well as
• the level of quality
• maturation potential
• alcohol content
• price
• producer
More than 1.000 wine producers are presented in detail – including information on grape varieties planted, vineyard area, soil structures and information on the best vintages. Naturally, the address, opening times and contact details are provided for all producers.
The Gault&Millau WineGuide App is particularly user-friendly. The many functions provided include
• comprehensive search options (e.g. by wine estates/producers, individual white wines, red wines and sparkling wines, vineyard sites or soil types)
• the facility to save search results as Favorites
• Map view and navigation
• Dial telephone numbers or contact email and internet addresses directly from the app.
