Brix is a different kind of wine magazine. We focus on artisan wines. Wineries that produce a few hundred to a few thousand cases of a year. Artisans who make small-lot wines because quality is more important than quantity.

We share the passion and the stories behind the winemakers and their wines. Wines that can only be found off the beaten path, on the back roads of a wine trail, and in the tasting rooms of their wineries.

Artisan wines are the most interesting wines being made today. The wines that can only be discovered at the source. Every month Brix uncovers these great wines, tells you about the winemakers behind them, and best of all… we show you how to get them.

We also keep you up to date on wine regions throughout the United States, wine festivals and tastings to help you find -- and taste -- these amazing wines.

Brix readers aren't just wine spectators. They're wine participants. So we also introduce you to real garage winemakers -- men and women who produce a few cases of wine, yet aspire to a few hundred. These are passionate and talented winemakers who love wine and the craft of winemaking. Brix will give you an up-close tour of their garage wineries and the backyard vineyards.

And because the joy of wine isn't just about taste and smell, it includes all our senses -- sight, sound and touch -- we share discoveries that go beyond the bottle. We find the most unique wine accoutrement, food, and furniture (yes, wine furniture!) and then share it all with you.

We here at Brix, are very excited to share these wines with you. And we're looking forward to introducing you to the men and women behind the wines who are so very passionate about their craft. All this and more, presented in a way that no other wine magazine does.
