The Alberta Emergency Alert App provides vital information about potentially life-threatening situations, such as wildfires, floods, and tornadoes. Alerts include details about the emergency’s location and the actions you should take to stay safe.
Emergencies can happen anywhere, anytime. It’s your responsibility to be prepared.
Key features of the Alberta Emergency Alert App:
● Alerts for life-threatening and emerging situations
● Alerts based on locations you're interested in
● "Follow Me" feature to get alerts near your current location, even when traveling outside Alberta
● View alert areas on a map
● Easily share alerts via social media, email, and text
● Detailed emergency descriptions, impacted areas, and safety instructions
● Simple setup and user-friendly interface
● Choose the types of alerts you want to receive
● Accessibility features for users of all abilities
● Multilingual, with the option to translate alerts into your device's default language
