yrNews Usenet Reader is a simple yet powerful usenet reader for accessing text based discussion newsgroups. The HD version is optimised for iPad.
iPad HD Version Features highlight:
- Adjustable split screen for viewing the thread list and post content at the same time.
- Download older messages in groups.
- Search posts in group by subject or sender.
Basic features:
- Read, reply and compose new message
- Subscribe to multiple servers and groups
- Auto sort posts to threads
- Swipe to expand/collapse thread
- Display attachment pictures inline and HTML messages
- Attach pictures when composing
- Quote colours for easy reading
- Support server login with username/password
- Support multiple character encodings
- Buttons for Mark thread/group read
- Pull to refresh group
- Show unread messages only
