Welcome to Cycle Yorkshire, Ride the Routes, the essential guide to riding the routes of the 2015 Tour de Yorkshire as well as the 2014 Yorkshire routes of the world’s greatest cycling race.
The two-day 2014 event covered nearly 400 kilometres of rugged Yorkshire countryside, whilst the new race in 2015 covers over 500 kilometres of many different and equally beautiful areas of Yorkshire. Cycle Yorkshire, Ride the Routes provides all the information you require to ride the routes safely.

Information videos of semi-pro cyclist Jamie Sharp riding section of the routes, providing great views of the course and outlining highly useful information about the routes, the challenging terrain and any hazards you may encounter
Flyover videos – key sections of the routes are shown in graphical flyovers, allowing you to plan your ride in advance

Day One from Leeds to Harrogate via Skipton, Hawes, Leyburn, Ripon and other parts of the Yorkshire Dales
Day Two from York to Sheffield via Knaresborough, Hebden Bridge, Huddersfield, Holmfirth and other parts of Yorkshire
The routes of the 3 days from the 2015 race including:
Day One from Bridlington to Scarborough through Dalby Forest, Pickering, the North York Moors, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and other parts of North Yorkshire
Day Two from Selby to York via Beverley, Wetwang, Stamford Bridge and other villages and towns in North Yorkshire
Day Three from Wakefield to Leeds through Barnsley, Holmfirth, Haworth and Ilkley and other parts of West and South Yorkshire
The routes of the 3 Sportive races from Roundhay Park in Leeds
In addition, you’ll find a useful News & Events feed with regularly updated news stories, and a general road safety and information section with useful hints and tips about the specific rural terrain you’ll find in Yorkshire.
