History: Basswalk Records (U.S.A.), was founded April 10th, 2002 by Miami’s music executive; Toby Holguin under the distribution of Inversus Records.

From its beginnings, it managed to grow rapidly into the scene by Basswalk Records having participation in the Ultra Music Festival, Miami editions 3, 4, and 5 with their own stage. It has been distributed by the Universal/Vivendi Music Group in territories like Brazil and Mexico. Nowadays, after working many years with HousePlanet.uk, it has started a new cycle as a Beatport exclusive label through Baseware Distribution and has founded a sister label under the name of Low Life Records, currently distributed by Brazil Deluxe. In 2013, Toby and the chilean Aldo Cadiz decided to create Badbarbie Records.

In 10 years of great diverse underground music, many distinguished artists of the likes of; Stefano Noferini, Pig & Dan, Marcello Azevedo, Nexus DJ & Mon, Shmuel Flash, Angel Moraes, Austin Leeds, Benz & MD, Chus & Ceballos, Toby Holguin, Ashbury & Haight, Raya & Manku, Ronan Portela, Elio Riso, DJ Moffus – Soundmodul – Francesco Parla, Erick E., Habersham, Ivan Miranda, Jay Tripwire, Lemon 8, Liam Shachar, Luke Fair, Neil Kolo, Oliver Berger, Pole Folder, Remy Unger, Kabale Und Liebe, Phillip O, Diego Astaiza, Manuel Belgrano, and Andre Mustache have redefined the label to its authenticity, well rooted where it all began.

Basswalk is also involved in night club projects like La Sala, La Pola, and currently Blackdoor Club where Basswalk has there label night as well as Toby’s worldwide night “From the INside OUT”.
