Drops! is the most innovative spreadsheet-like app ever created for the iPad. Drops! is a unique proposal, completely designed to leverage the multi-touch nature of iOS. Drops! do not use the table/cell spreadsheet traditional approach, but replaces it with a more intuitive and easy to use metaphor: water drops. Every data element in Drops! is contained in a "drop", so you only need to merge two or more drops together to operate on them. Forget about the fixed nature of tables, rows and columns. In Drops! you can have values whenever you want on the app canvas. Want to sum a list of values? Just put each value in a drop and then use your finger to merge them all together! Sum is not the operation you wanted? Simply open the function carrousel and drag the function dropper to the value you want to change. Drops! implements all sorts of mathematical, financial, scientific and statistical formulas. You can define complex formulas by combining intermediate drop results with other drops, in any number of levels or ways, just as you will do in any traditional spreadsheet app, but easier! Adding charts in Drops! is extremely straightforward. Just open a empty chart frame and start dragging drops on top of it, and see how each drop transforms into a bar in the chart.
