Esta aplicación tiene como propósito facilitar el acceso a información sistematizada acerca de los problemas, soluciones y evaluaciones sobre seguridad ciudadana, de forma tal de contribuir al mayor conocimiento sobre el tema y al desarrollo de políticas basadas en evidencia en América Latina y el Caribe.

Esto se realiza a través de una aplicación para teléfonos celulares y tabletas a fin de salvar brechas de acceso y conectividad, y al mismo tiempo brindar una herramienta de fácil uso para tomadores de decisiones, funcionarios públicos, investigadores y expertos.

La aplicación es parte del “Sistema Regional de Evaluación de Impacto de Políticas de Seguridad para América Latina” impulsado por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y ejecutado por la Universidad Nacional de Villa María (UNVM) que tiene por objetivo crear una red regional que promueva la realización de evaluaciones de impacto en políticas de seguridad ciudadana:

Asimismo, la conceptualización, diseño de matriz de datos, revisión y fichado de los textos utilizados como fuente de esta aplicación, fue fruto del trabajo de Gustavo Beliz, Ana InesBasco,

Diego M. Fleitas y Alejandro Cid.

This application goal is to facilitate the access to systematized information about problems, solutions and evaluations on citizen security, in order to contribute to more knowledge and to the development of policies based on evidence in Latin America and the Caribe.

This is carried out thanks an application for mobile phones and tablets, what allows to solve access and connectivity breaches, as well as to create a tool of easy use to decision takers, officials, researchers and experts.

The application is part of the ‘Regional Evaluation System of the Impact of Public Policies in Security in Latin America’ sponsored by the Inte-American Development Bank IDB, and implemented by the Universidad Nacional de Villa María (UNVM), whose purpose is to create a regional network that promotes impact evaluations on citizen security policies.

In addition , the conceptualization, data matrix design, texts review and the files used as a source of this application were result of the work of Gustavo Beliz, Ana Ines Basco, Diego M. Fleitas,

Alejando Cid.
