BTMono is an app that lets you play any audio from your iPhone on a mono bluetooth device, such as car hands-free system or a single ear headset.
Usually these devices, which lack A2DP, can't be used by apps for audio output unless the apps are built specifically with that in mind. As long as a mono bluetooth device is paired when BTMono is enabled, any audio you start playing from your other apps will go through your paired bluetooth device.
Please be advised that the audio quality is not ideal for music playing, as only 1 channel is available and the bit rate is limited. However it works very well for podcasts or audiobooks. Any bluetooth device that can be used to receive calls should work with the app.
I created this app so that I can listen to podcasts through my car stereo using my favourite podcast app.
The app was tested on several bluetooth headsets ands cars.

Misc stability improvements.
Note: when flicking the switch to ON, you will now have any background audio stop playing. You will then need to resume it manually. This avoids issues where the app would not be able to correctly mix with the background audio.
