Designed for traditional Vedic priests and jyotisha, Panchanga is an accurate, easy-to-use and free app that calculates everything that is available in an Indian panchangam for any time in the future, by automatically using your location.
In addition to the 5 Vedic time factors of tithi, vara, nakshatra, karana and yoga, this app also shows and calculates the following:
For each day, shows the traditional vedic month and tithi that occurred at sunrise.
Calculates sunrise and sunset times at your latitude/longitude.
Calculates when the planets (grahas) enter into the different sidereal signs (rashis).
Calculates when the movement of the planets (grahas) goes retrograde or forward.
Times of Sankrantis (the Sun's ingress into a sidereal sign) are calculated.
Shunya tithis are shown for a specific day.
The traditional Indian holidays are also calculated for your location.
