Freestyle Judo is the official timing and scoreboard app of the International Freestyle Judo Alliance (IFJA) and AAU Judo for scoring "Judo, the way it ought to be."
The Freestyle Judo iOS app provides a complete scoreboard and interval timer solution that can easily be used with AirPlay and an Apple TV to mirror your display on a large screen monitor.
The Freestyle Judo iOS Scoreboard App is designed with the minimalist in mind. Swipe the timer up or down to adjust the match length or scoreboard. Use the context-sensitive buttons to start and stop the Osaekomi timer, award points or score Ippon. Use the interval timer for high intensity randori workouts. Use the iOS Music app to select a playlist, then turn on the Freestyle Judo app's Background Music mode to spice up your interval training.
A complete AAU Freestyle Judo Rules manual is included free in the app for reference by Judoka, Coaches, and Referees.

Freestyle Judo brings back the "golden age" of Judo competition by embracing the fighting styles of wrestling, sambo, and modern jujitsu. Competitors who specialize in standing techniques can throw for Ippon. Wrestlers who prefer lower body attacks can shoot for the legs. Jiu-Jitsu grapplers who specialize in submissions have the time and flexibility to fight on the ground. All of these styles are good Judo.
Freestyle Judo encourages participation from Wrestlers, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Mixed Martial Arts enthusiasts by providing an open-ended competition format.
So grab a Freestyle Judo app for your favorite iOS device, and don't be afraid to grab legs in Judo anymore.

Freestyle Judo 2.0 adds the ability to choose arbitrary colors for each competitor. This version also corrects the shiai/match timer to continue ticking at zero as long as the osaekomi timer is still active. In other words, you cannot be saved by the bell.
The Freestyle Judo website information is also updated, as well as, new color icons for the app.
This application is designed so you can use it with AirPlay and an AppleTV to project the scoreboard onto a large screen TV when hosting your own scrimmages or tournaments.
