"Patent Issued method created for the DbLive idd (Irrigation Decision Device) is now available as an App. Idd saves water by telling the user if the sprinkler’s controller (or manual watering) should be ON or OFF preventing unncessesary irrigation. Instead of directing a sprinkler to stop watering because it just rained (the way a rain sensor works), this small app makes decisions based on future weather, and future soil moisture. For a particular location chosen, the idd app will tell the user to inhibits irrigation if its forecasts predict sufficient soil moisture or allows irrigation if the soil needs more water.

DESIRED SOIL MOISTURE: idd can allow more or less irrigation based on owner preference. A ON/OFF indicator will be displayed for each Soil Moisture Level. Soil Moisture HIGH is intended for flowers, new landscaping, and other plants that need extra water. Soil Moisture MEDIUM is appropriate for the day-to-day watering needs of most lawns and landscaping.
