The following application calculates joint analysis or the resultant reactions for an applied load. It is commonly used for structural joint analysis in the aircraft, automobile or civil engineering.
There are three modules:
Fastener/Bolt Group, calculates the reactions of any fastener pattern by user input loads for a rigid and shear critical joint. The fastener locations and applied loads are user input.
Shear Clip Joint, calculates the reaction of the fasteners by the user input load and it is based on the classical elastic vector method.
Shear/Tension MS calculates the margin of safety for a fastener in shear and tension interaction for adequate strength against failure.
