An independent app design studio Demst is pleased to announce Space Dodgers: Reach the Planet, an original arcade game for iPhone and iPad. In Space Dodgers you get to fly a spaceship from A to B avoiding nasty asteroids and collecting a designated amount of astronaut.

In the enormous amount of arcades, where an every other game is about zombies or birds (or zombie birds), Space Dodgers: Reach the Planet is surely a breath of fresh air. Moving away from the gameplay styles we all are getting a bit bored with, the developers of Space Dodgers: Reach the Planet invite us to play something different, something that has a special place in our hearts - spaceship.

The game is all about flying a lovely spaceship from A to B avoiding asteroids and collecting astonauts to score points. You get to build a path for your spaceship by moving a dot close to the astonaut. You don’t have to put the dot exactly on the astonaut, just make it close enough for the spaceship to grab it. Once you mapped out the route, click Play and watch your spaceship flying gracefully in the outer space. Be sure to avoid the asteroids and other elements by hitting the Play button at the right moment. Otherwise, you will need to restart your flight.

Space Dodgers: Reach the Planet is a smart mix of beautiful graphics, original gameplay, and accurate touch controls. Clean and unobtrusive design allows the player to focus on the classic arcade game, which can get quite tricky on the higher levels. The game contains 60 brain-teasing levels, with more nature elements and special tools to combat them appearing as you fly on.

It’s a sweet app that is great for all ages. It doesn’t claim to be a new Angry Birds or Cut the Rope killer, but with such a tasteful implementation and fun gameplay, it has all chances to become your daily companion.
