Slide is a podcast player with a simple and beautiful interface. The currently playing podcast, podcast subscriptions, and playlist are always a slide away.
● Discovery: Slide makes it easy to subscribe to new podcasts, and to discover ones you didn't know about. Search for anything, browse categories, add a feed URL by hand, or even import your podcasts from an OPML file. You have a world of content to listen to, and Slide won't get in the way of it.
● New Podcasts in the Morning: Slide automatically checks for and downloads new podcast episodes so you don't have to, even when it isn't running. And over time, it even learns when new episodes become available and automatically checks for you at those times.
● Notifications: Slide automatically notifies you when new podcast episodes are ready to play. And since Slide does this in the background, you don't have to open the app to check, saving you time.
● Speed: Slide checks for new podcast episodes with incredible speed. No more tirelessly waiting around for your podcast app to simply check for new episodes.
● Easy to Tap Buttons: Slide has large buttons that are easy to tap, so when you are working out, or driving in your car, Slide brings clarity and ease of use to your podcasts.
● Data Awareness: Slide gives you complete control of how your cellular data is used. You have the option to turn on and off Slide using cellular data for refreshing of podcast subscriptions, downloading episodes, and streaming episodes.
● Stream or Download: You have the option of either streaming your podcasts or downloading them to your device so they will be available anywhere you may go.
● Decentralized: Slide doesn't depend on a single server to check for new podcast episodes so it will never "go down". You'll always be up and running.
● Accessibility: With large buttons and properly configured voice over text, Slide is easily accessible.
