The Simple Eats app is a place where you can access a selection of healthy restaurants (which are currently limited to NYC) right in the palm of your hands. The goal is to make these restaurants more accessible for you, so that you could dine out without the guilt. This app allows you to find a restaurant that meets your specific dining needs based on location and/or food preferences, as well as share your appreciation for these restaurants through facebook and/or twitter. Whether it's eating out or learning the benefits of different kinds of foods, the hope is that you can also help to inspire your own family and friends to make more educated and nutritional decisions while dining out and/or shopping for your favorite ingredients. Despite whatever diet you follow, Simple Eats is empowering you and simplifying the way you make your food choices.
Simple Eats with Chef T started out as a WebTV show, which is also is featured in this app. Its main focus is to show the benefits & simplicity of healthy cooking. Some of the local restaurants that are noted in this app have been featured in some of Chef T's Web Series . Chef T will continually add episodes of Simple Eats videos on this App to enhance your virtual restaurant experience, as well as make healthy cooking at home easy and fun!
Chef T is a Natural Food Chef, an award winning Natural Bodybuilder, a Fitness Specialist, Certified Health Coach, and a Cancer Survivor. After Chef T's final treatment for hodgkin's disease, he became inspired to teach and motivate others on the importance of eating foods that are nourishing, vital, and supportive to their bodies. His focus is on the simplicity of making healthy food taste delicious and a part of your lifestyle. Feel free to support First Descents, a Cancer Organization who Chef T cooks for. First Descents' goal is to 'empower young adult survivors and fighters through conquering legitimate outdoor challenges to push their limits and face their fears, and by doing so, they are able to regain the confidence and self-efficacy lost to cancer.'
