Amber Child Safety: All-in-One Child Safety App

Amber Child Safety’s all-in-one mobile app includes three key features: Amber Safe Browser, Amber Mobile Timetable and Amber Location Services to help parents keep their kids safe on their mobile devices. Even if your child doesn’t have an iOS device of their own, you can install the Amber Child Safety app on your own device to keep kids protected when they are using it.
Amber Safe Browser:
•Blocks inappropriate and distressing web content such as pornography, violence, hate speech or other adult-themed content
•Filters web content by categories, blacklists and whitelist; plus safe search ensures search results are OK for kids
•Blocks inappropriate web traffic and sends you an alert by email
•Logs the sites your kids are visiting so you can learn about how they are using the Internet
Amber Mobile Timetable:
•Allows you to set time parameters on your child’s usage
•Encourages your child to take breaks from the device
• (Exceptions can be set –VIP sites –allowing access to school-approved sites in the classroom).
Amber Location Services:
•Allows you to locate your child or a missing device and also gives you a historical overview of where your child has been.
•Enables you to establish geo-fences and receive alerts when kids go outside of the designated areas
Amber Child Safety’s mobile app works over cellular data connections, home and public Wi-Fi networks to ensure your child is always safe from harm and dangerous content. An online dashboard allows you to manage all your Amber Child Safety protected devices from a single location.
The Amber Child Safety service has little impact on battery life or data consumption and won’t interfere with the running of the device.
