dispair is a challenging brainteaser, in which it depends on finding out a given order of letters (colours) within a minimum of attempts.

Thereto distance (dis) and neighbourhood (pair) information can be used.

So the solution principle of a dispair brainteaser task is very tight. Therefore regarding the fun of a game dispair can be ranked between Chess and Sudoku. Different from Chess and Sudoku dispair offers additionally spaces for having some luck. So dispair might become a new brainteaser classic.

dispair offers several levels (number of fields for letters/colours) and demands a high degree of combination ability in higher levels (there are no levels 1, 2, and 3):

Level 4: for an easy introduction
