NOTE: We're aware of (and thank each of you for reporting) a number of issues. Currently we're considering which of them can feasibly be addressed and where so, on what timescale.

SIGNIFICANT - currently this app does not utilise iCloud to back-up saved games. Therefore, whilst we intend and believe that saved games will be retained when this app is updated, we can not guarantee that it will. If you wish to retain your saved games we recommend that you DO NOT UPDATE THIS APP.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE: As of 12th Sept. we are aware that a number of players have reported issues with the game "freezing" after loading a saved game. We are investigating these reports and in particular whether the issue may be related to the Stack pointer. If so, we expect it to take a few days to prepare a fix and an update for submission to Apple.

The source of an issue which has caused a number of players to report that their copy of 'Ultima IV: C64' occasionally 'freezes' during play has been identified and has been fixed.

Three additional issues - which were identified by players during testing of the fix for the 'freezing' issue - have also been fixed.

Previously we wrote, "Sadly, once the app is updated many of the saved games (from the existing version of the app) will no longer work. If you try to use an old saved game in the new version of the app you may be able to walk around the world map, but you will experience corruption if you try to enter a town/castle/dungeon/moongate. In this circumstance, or with any other problem with an old save game, the only thing you can do is start again. We apologise for this but are relieved to be able to report that (we think) we've addressed the issues and that gamers will now be able to enjoy this genre-defining RPG as we and others intended."
