Henry Santos BandMate

Henry Santos is an accomplished bilingual artist, producer, singer and gifted composer in both English and Spanish. He is an innovative musician born in Moca, Dominican Republic who migrated to New York at the prime age of 13. Henry is a naturally gifted performer and entertainer.

Although he is a veteran in the music industry as a former member of the notorious “Kings of Bachata” group Aventura, and with 15 years of experience in his professional career, Henry considers himself a “new artist” as he ventures into the next journey of his career as a solo artist and invites us to join him in his “Sexy Kingdom”.

His avant-garde style of thinking, fashion forward sense, the ability to reinvent himself, coupled with his naturally gifted talents and charm, is what makes Henry a performing threat squared. This sensuous and determined young man draws his inspiration from his adoration and admiration for the females and is influenced by his zodiac sign Sagittarius. Henry has an uncanny ability to draw our attention with his keen capability of composing.

Henry debuted as a solo artist at “SummerStage” in New York City’s Central Park, before a crowd of 3,500 people, on August 13th 2011. He continued his successful debut concert series with Pepsi Music’s SumerStage at NY’s Uptown Highbridge Park on August 17th, drawing over 2,500 people to his performance.

Despite his big dreams, Henry has a straight forward approach and does not sugarcoat the truth. He inspires us with his realistic unconventional lyrics to face the truth about relationships with his song “Por Nada”, his second single release from his debut album, Introducing Henry Santos. Released in November of 2011, “Por Nada” charted at #12 on Billboard in the Tropical Song category. Henry pours his heart out with this song and pleads with us to stop hurting one another as we are haunted by our past experiences with relationships.
