Want to see the northern lights when in Iceland? You can maximize your chances of seeing them, by using Aurora Iceland’s localized Aurora forecast. The forecast is based on multiple factors: planetary magnetic activity, local weather conditions, lunar conditions and others.
The forecast is simplified down to a 0-5 star ranking scale for each location, and hour-by-hour forecast information is also available.
With Aurora Iceland you can:
● Find the best location and time for aurora viewing in Iceland tonight.
● Get hour-by-hour aurora forecasts for over 70 locations in Iceland.
● Quickly at a glance determine the probability of seeing the aurora tonight and tomorrow night.
● Get push notifications when the forecast looks good.
