Sithija: Sinhala Mobile Keyboard
Fully featured Sinhala keyboard for Apple mobile devices with iOS version 15.0 or higher.
This is a lightweight keyboard-only version of our main Sinhala app 'Sinhala: Keyboard & Notebook'. This app will install the complete Sinhala keyboard without other unrelated features and this keyboard or application will not ask or collect any kind of personal or other data from its users.
This app will bring you the two best Sinhala typing layouts available in the AppStore.
> Smart Wijesekara layout
Our Wijesekara layout is an enhanced & highly optimized version of the traditional Wijesekara layout. We have focused on designing a `user-friendly` and `easy to use` Wijesekara layout to maximize & simplify your Sinhala typing experience with much fewer typing errors.

> Smart Singlish layout
Singlish is a transliteration layout for users who like to type Sinhala with equivalent English letter sounds. This is the most popular layout on our keyboard with a superior Sinhala typing experience. This layout is much easier and faster to use and anyone can type without any prior experience. With out complete and smart Unicode text building engine users can type Sinhala letters faster and with fewer errors.

A complete & fully-featured English layout will be available so you don't have to switch to the system keyboard to type in English.

‣ long-press to move/change the cursor position
‣ smart Unicode rendering engine
‣ double-tap on the spacebar for period (dot) symbol
‣ double-tap on the period (dot) key for the comma symbol
‣ double tap on the `pilla` (vowel symbols) to get `longer pills` (e.g. double tap on Papilla to get Longer Papilla)

We will not be asking permission to access the camera, photo library, flasher, or any other device sensors

Our only source of income is showing ads on this app. We use Google ads for advertising and Google may ask you to enable user tracking for targeted ads. We encourage you to not allow tracking when prompted, so Google will provide general ads instead of targeted ads.
> How to install this Keyboard
1) Quick method
• Tap on 'Activate your keyboard' on the home page
• Go to 'Keyboards' section
• Turn ON the 'Sinhala' keyboard
• Turn ON 'Allow Full Access' if you want to have word suggestions (This is an OS requirement and we cannot access the database without this enabled)
• Go to any TextField and switch to the 'Sinhala' keypad from the keyboard switcher (globe icon)
2) Manual method
• Go to `Settings -> General -> Keyboard`
• Select `Keyboards` section to see activated Keyboards
• Tap on the `Add New Keyboard...` option
• Select `Sinhala` under the `THIRD-PARTY KEYBOARDS` section
• The app will redirect back to the previous page
• Select the newly added `Sinhala` from the activated keyboards list
• Enable the `Allow Full Access` if you want to have word suggestions (This is an OS requirement and we cannot access the database without this enabled)
• Go to any TextField and switch to the 'Sinhala' keypad from the keyboard switcher (globe icon)
