The goal? To give students a positive way to learn about renewable energy, air pollution and climate solutions – with the topics aligned with science and HASS requirements in the Australian Curriculum.

Get ready for an adventure where you'll fly around Australia, seeing how the energy we use today affects our health and our environment.

Meet Terra, a brilliant teen from the future. She’s come back in time to create a cleaner, healthier Australia. Your mission? To team up with Terra and choose the best ways to cut Australia’s climate pollution and create enough renewable energy to power the country.

To complete the game, each player will answer multiple choice challenges, learn from fast facts, and collect news nuggets hidden across Australia.

You complete your mission by choosing enough low-emission solutions that are better for our health, our planet, and our wallets. By making the right choices, you’ll also help make our homes and cities better places to live.

Energy Transformers is more than a game. Built by energy experts from the Digital Grid Futures Institute, UNSW Sydney, and award-winning game designers Chaos Theory, this game will help students discover the best solutions for powering Australia.
