Seven thousand verses are available in this Purana at this time. By the way, in many texts, the number of its verses has been told as twenty-three thousand. The Vishnu Purana describes the five characteristics of the Puranas or varna-subjects—Sarga, Pratisarga, Vamsa, Manvantara, and Vamsanucharit. All the topics are mentioned proportionately. In between, light has also been thrown on spirituality-interpretation, Kalikarma, and virtue, etc.
Story
This is a Vaishnav Mahapuran, it is going to destroy all the sinners. Its story is described in the following parts-

Shakti Nandan Parashar has narrated six parts to Maitreya in the first part of this, in the first part the text of this Purana has been given. Aadi Karan Sarg Devta Adi ji Origin Story of churning of ocean Daksha Adi's lineage Description of Dhruva and Prithu's character Prachetas's story Prahlad's story and the description of separate kingship given by Brahmaji to the chiefs of the deities Tiryak humans etc. All subjects have been called the first part.
