Insight is Priceless! All sources of news contain some form of bias. Some use it as an explicit marketing tool, some attempt to remain objective, but all news sources cover the same story differently. Spectrum News Prism was designed to help explore stories across news sources. News sources are ranked across the spectrum of ideology, from liberal to conservative, literally left to right, providing an intuitive browsing tool to compare coverage between them. Does the story lead with the negative or bury it in the end? Do the editorial decisions and word choices reflect bias regarding the stories content? The only way to tell is to compare them in real time. Search for a single word, issue or name and scroll across the spectrum of coverage to compare real-time coverage across news sources!
