While looking at the beautiful and artful food that was served to the guests of the Royal reception, a local eatery came to mind. The Bridge Road Bistro.
Opened in 2004, by the renowned, award winning, former head chef of the Greenbrier Hotel, Robert Wong. This is a place where food becomes a delectable work of art.
The Bridge Road Bistro is recognized for its globally inspired cuisine, great service, extensive wine list, and warm ambience.
Nestled within the Bridge Road Shops neighborhood of South Hills, just minutes from downtown Charleston, WV. The Bridge Road Bistro is taking fresh food to new heights.
Touting "American style cuisine with global influences", Chef Wong and his staff have found a winning combination.
Starting with the freshest ingredients, each dish is made to perfection. The bistro's fare is a delicious blend of fresh foods, lovingly and meticulously prepared, then seasoned to perfection.
Offering such delights as bison, grain fed beef, raised without hormones or antibiotics in Greenbrier County, WV; lamb naturally raised in Parkersburg, WV,without hormones or antibiotics; trout from Monroe County, WV, and yellow fin tuna.
Recently, this Examiner dined at the Bistro and enjoyed an appetizer of Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, the Florida Red Grouper for an entree, and for dessert, Caramelized Apple Tart with buttermilk ice cream and caramel sauce. Mmmmmmm!!!
