This app is designed as part of the Community Advisories features for WatchDogAdvisory.com. It allows you to subscribe to your local authorities for Emergent or Urgent Advisories. It works in conjunction with www.watchdogadvisory.com to alert you of emergent situations sent by your subscriber.
This app is best suited for alerts from local authorities such as Schools, Local News/Weather Stations, Organized Neighborhoods, and Employers.
A very clear alarm will sound even when the ringer is turned all the way down under foreground state. You will ONLY get an advisory from those listed in your custom subscriber list.
A confirmation that the advisory was read is sent back to the originator of the alert. This is especially helpful for schools who were previously using calling trees. Now, the only calls made are to those who did not respond to the alert immediately.
You may also include your land lines for back up from the site itself.
