Unlock 3D games, special clips and interactive figures from Horror & Sci-fi movies, using your mobile phone camera. Starting with "Thale" - the buzzed nordic mythology movie which will be released in April 2013, the HORROR AR app will feature original content alongside official content from Film & TV titles in the Horror, Sci-fi and Fantastic genres.
Point the camera to a $1, $5, 5 euro or 5 pounds note and reveal a 3D game & exclusive clip from the movie “Thale”. More goodies to unlock can be found at http://www.horrornymphs.com/ar
The "horrornymphs" (#1 horror channel on Youtube) present the first ever HORROR Augmented Reality app - where you can display 3D games, 3D figures and interactive elements from feature-films over banknotes and other symbols, looking as if they existed in reality.
How does it work?
Our unholy horror goodies will appear as 3D “holograms” over real life objects, popping on your screen while you point your mobile phone camera at a specific object (like a $1 note for example).
The symbols are listed on http://www.horrornymphs.com/ar and will also be sent via push notifications directly to the app.
After starting the app, hold the object straight, and point the camera on it - then watch our nifty horror thingies coming alive...
You can always use these banknotes - remember to point the camera at the head figure (the illustration) that appears on the note:

Cool, isn’t it? This technology is called “augmented reality” and we thought it should be rad to try it with our notorious bank of horror clips.

Hey horror fans, it's Megan from the horrornymphs (yes, the no. 1 horror channel on Youtube :). We've been thinking how we can bring an awesome new horror experience to you, and came up with this idea to just pop horror thingies in real life! So we hooked up with our friends from studio.com and the neat producers of "Thale" to create this app - and we’re going to send updates whenever new content will be available (using the push notifications, and on our facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/horrornymphs).
