Have you ever been in that situation where it's 15 minutes until noon and no one has decided where to go for lunch?
Or you've been with your family and everyone wants to go to different places and a majority decision is naught to be had?
Meal of fortune is THE app that will allow you to easily organize places to eat and drink, discover them on a map, let everyone have their say, and pick one at random!
Features:
★ Organize
Make lists for any sort of food and drink combination! A simple to use interface allows you to quickly make, edit, and order them. Simply press the + button to create a new one!
★ Search & Add
Use the map to search for places to eat and drink; type in the name of a place or a category of food or drink (e.g. Coffee, Vietnamese, BBQ).
Powered by Yelp! Click on a pin for its star rating and review count. Click on the button in the pin to go to the place's Yelp page for more information like hours of operation, menu, etc.
Click the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons in the pin to add and remove places from your list!
★ Vote
Once you've added some places to your list access it from the map (or use the shortcut on the main page).
Each place get 1 vote by default. See all of your places, their Yelp rating, and the percentage of them winning amongst their peers.
Use the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons to adjust the number of votes each place has and watch as the statistics adjust on the fly!
★ Random selection
Head to the pizza wheel when you're done voting using the ready button. We convert your places and their stats into pie chart form.
Swipe to select one of your places at random! We choose a random number of spins and
then convert your swipe into more spins.
So relish the idea that even though the selection was random, your swipe DID influence the outcome :P!
★ WIN

★ Notes
This app requires location services to be fully functional. Please allow location services to find your location so we can show you some great places!
