The Briefing is an evangelical periodical, published by Matthias Media from Sydney, Australia, to a worldwide audience.
Since 1988 The Briefing has been a means of regularly ‘briefing’ our readers—that is, encouraging and equipping each other to live fruitful lives as believers while we await the return of our Lord Jesus.
The Briefing comes out every two months as a digital magazine, in addition to its other e-book and print editions.
*** What's in The Briefing? ***
- Articles to help every Christian in their walk with God.
- Ideas and thoughts to encourage all to be getting on with ‘everyday’ service and witnessing.
- A Christian perspective on the events in the world around us.- Resources for pastors and lay leaders that provide encouragement and ideas for ministers of God’s Word.
The Briefing has been Australia’s leading evangelical publication for over 20 years, and we’d love you to be a part of it. In subscribing to The Briefing you’re also supporting the ministry of Matthias Media in publishing Christian resources.
*** Brief Books ***
As a Briefing reader, what are you going to read in the alternate month? We’ve got that covered. Our Brief Books are longer than a single article, but shorter than a book: the kind of thing that was published as a pamphlet or booklet back in the day.
These titles will be drawn from a range of different material. For example, a Brief Book might be a standalone portion of a forthcoming Matthias Media title. Or a compilation of some Briefing archives on a specific topic. Or maybe an excellent article that was just too long for The Briefing itself. Have a quick look through what's already published to get an idea of what might be coming up. Whatever it is, rest assured it’ll be wonderfully useful and accessible stuff that nicely complements The Briefing.
*** Subscriptions ***
Within the app you can subscribe to the magazine and Brief books using an auto-renew subscription, or purchase individual issues.
Three auto-renewing subscriptions are available:
- A monthly subscription to The Briefing + Brief Books
- A bi-monthly subscription to The Briefing only
- A yearly subscription to all content, including the full in-app back catalogue (while your subscription is active).
The US pricing for these subscriptions are $1.99/$2.99/$20.99 respectively. Regional pricing may be different.
